Growing real estate investment and lending platform seeking a Senior Associate Attorney to support complex real estate transactions, distressed assets, and regulatory compliance matters. This role partners cross-functionally with legal, capital markets, servicing, and asset management teams to manage risk and drive successful asset resolution strategies.ResponsibilitiesSupport real estate closings, loan workouts, restructurings, and asset dispositionsOversee distressed asset strategies including modifications, forbearance, foreclosure, bankruptcy, REO, and note salesEnsure compliance with federal and state regulations related to mortgage lending and servicingAssist with regulatory exams, audits, and investor reportingImplement risk mitigation controls and process improvementsProvide legal and strategic guidance on complex transactions and special assetsRespond to escalations from internal stakeholders, investors, and borrowersQualifications3+ years of experience in real estate, special assets, loan servicing, mortgage operations, or related financial servicesStrong knowledge of distressed debt, loan workouts, and real estate transactionsFamiliarity with regulatory compliance frameworks impacting lending and servicingAnalytical, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally#J-18808-Ljbffr
