Overview:
Location: Hybrid - Hunt Valley, MD

The A.C.Coy Company is currently seeking candidates for a Senior Assurance Manager role to support Construction businesses. Ideal candidates will have 8+ years of public accounting experience, experience conducting and overseeing large review engagements, and an active CPA.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the Principal to oversee all assigned engagements including scheduling, job planning, and staffing
- Responsible for the work program and time budget
- Review questionable engagement findings
- Prepare and review financial statements, schedules, management letters, and tax returns
- Conduct an engagement evaluation report for each team member
- Coordinate and monitor engagement budgets
- Support new businesses with entity selection and software implementation
- Represent the firm at networking events and private functions
Qualifications:
Education Required:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or a related discipline
- Active CPA or JD
Experience Required:
- 8+ years of public accounting experience with a minimum of 2+ years working with construction or real estate clients
- Experience overseeing large review engagement and audits
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Knowledge and proficiency with various accounting software
