Senior Associate/Tax Manager

Term: Permanent

Schedule: Full-time

Shift: Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm

Pay:  

• CPA: $95,000 - $125,000/year  DOE
• No CPA: $65,000 - $80,000/year with proven return experience.

*Pay is negotiable for the right candidate! Final salary will be determined based on experience, credentials, technical expertise, and overall fit for the role.

What You Will Do:

• Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns
• Manage multistate tax compliance engagements
• Research complex tax issues and provide practical client-focused solutions
• Partner with clients on tax planning opportunities throughout the year
• Respond to tax notices and assist with audit support
• Mentor developing tax professionals and contribute to team success
• Build trusted relationships through proactive communication and service

What You Will Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required
• 3+ years of complex tax experience required
• Active Montana CPA license or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation preferred
• Strong federal and multistate taxation knowledge
• Excellent communication, organization, and client-service skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
