A full-service law firm with more than 1,250 attorneys and over 2,000 people, we have a collaborative approach, advanced technological resources, and depth of services that make us a preeminent law firm.Position OverviewTaft is looking for a team‑oriented experienced attorney to join our Private Client group in the Chicago office.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate closely with senior partners, oversee and mentor associates, and review and refine sophisticated planning documents.Take the lead on managing complex matters over time.Provide advanced estate, gift, and GST tax planning, lifetime gifting strategies, sales to grantor and non‑grantor trusts, QSBS planning, fiduciary counsel, and trust and estate administration.QualificationsAt least 10+ years of experience advising high net worth and ultra‑high net worth clients.Substantial experience in advanced estate, gift, and GST tax planning and related areas as described above.Excellent academic and professional credentials with strong analytical ability and clear, practical communication skills.Compensation and BenefitsSalary range: $265,000–$380,000 per year.
