What You’ll Do

• Lead single-plaintiff, class action, collective action, and PAGA matters through all phases of litigation
• Develop litigation strategy and take ownership of its execution
• Direct discovery and take and defend depositions
• Work with expert witnesses
• Draft and argue dispositive and other significant motions
• Appear in court and represent clients at trial and arbitration
• Lead settlement negotiations and participate in mediations
• Prepare complex matters for trial and arbitration
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients across a range of industries

What You’ll Need

• At least 7 years of California labor and employment litigation experience
• Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of California
• Juris Doctor degree
• Ability to independently manage significant litigation matters
• Experience handling complex class action and PAGA matters, including class certification, dispositive motions, expert discovery, and trial preparation
• Experience handling single-plaintiff FEHA-related claims
• Excellent writing, analytical, advocacy, and interpersonal skills
• Sound judgment, initiative, and a collaborative approach
