Senior Associate - ABM (Account Based Marketing)

We are seeking a Business Development Associate to support our different verticals. This role is ideal for recent college graduates with consulting, supply chain, or strategic sourcing experience who are eager to work alongside Business Development (BD) leaders to drive growth. The ideal candidate will help identify and develop new business opportunities, support go-to-market strategies and enhance client engagement.

This is a great opportunity to leverage industry knowledge, analytical skills, and marketing strategies to expand business relationships and accelerate sales cycles.

  • Business Growth: Support BD leaders in identifying, developing, and nurturing new opportunities in our different sectors.
  • Market Research & Strategy: Conduct research, analyze trends, and assist in shaping go-to-market strategies for key offerings.
  • Client Engagement: Assist in lead generation, set up meetings with qualified prospects, and contribute to proposals and presentations.
  • Sales & Marketing Support: Develop sales collateral, support targeted campaigns, and help execute account-based marketing (ABM) strategies.
  • Performance Analysis: Track and measure the success of business development efforts, optimizing strategies based on data-driven insights.

  • ABM Lead: Lead larger scale inside sales initiatives, manage a team of junior sales specialists, and take on higher-level strategic responsibilities within the ABM function.
  • Business Development Specialist: Transition into a more specialized role within the Business Development team, focusing on in-depth prospecting, lead conversion, and account management.
  • Account Executive: Progress into a direct sales role to manage and grow key accounts, focusing on closing deals and expanding business opportunities.

Success in the Inside Sales ABM Lead role will be evaluated based on the following key performance indicators:

  • Quantity and quality of outbound emails and calls leading to successful sales leads generated
  • Effectiveness of email and content creation in driving engagement and interest from prospects
  • Conversion rate of leads expressing interest in GEP's services due to the ABM teams inside sales efforts

What You Should Bring

  • 2-4+ years of experience in business development, consulting, supply chain, category management, or strategic sourcing.
  • Strong research and analytical skills to assess market trends and business opportunities.
  • Exposure to development of client proposals and business cases.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at various levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot) and marketing automation platforms is a plus.

Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.

Additional Compensation: Eligible for a performance-based bonus tied to individual and company performance.
