Job Details
This is an opportunity to join a fantastic team with great opportunities for growth. The ideal candidate will have 4-5+ years of multifamily/LIHTC asset management experience and be comfortable managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
What You’ll Do:
Review monthly property financials, budgets, and variance reports to evaluate portfolio performance.
Monitor property and partnership compliance with LIHTC/Section 42 requirements, partnership agreements, loan documents, and other regulatory requirements.
Analyze property performance, valuations, market trends, and operational results to identify opportunities and risks.
Partner with Development, Construction, and Property Management teams on asset strategy, leasing, financing, and project execution.
Support due diligence for acquisitions, financing, and dispositions.
Lead asset management calls and property visits, identifying issues and developing corrective action plans.
Review and monitor property management, vendor, lease, and other operational contracts.
Assist with insurance claims, tenant-related legal matters, and other property-level issues.
QUALIFICATION:
Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.
3–5 years of multifamily asset management experience, preferably on the General Partner side.
Working knowledge of LIHTC/Section 42 requirements.
Strong financial analysis and quantitative skills.
Understanding of real estate accounting and financial reporting.
Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Ability to analyze financial statements, leases, contracts, loan documents, and regulatory agreements.
Strong communication, presentation, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently while partnering effectively across teams.
Experience with Yardi, RealPage, or MRI is a plus.
Approximately 5% travel for property inspections.
