Immediate need for a Senior Architect with considerable professional experience in municipal and public schools, including a proven record of leadership and a portfolio of successful projects. Client : Based in Westchester County, our client offers integrated engineering, planning, design, construction, and operations services to public and private sector clients.

Based in Westchester County, our client offers integrated engineering, planning, design, construction, and operations services to public and private sector clients. Their multidisciplinary expertise includes environmental, education, structural, MEP, and energy services, supporting projects across institutional and corporate markets.

Description:
Immediate need for a Senior Architect with considerable professional experience in municipal and public schools, including a proven record of leadership and a portfolio of successful projects.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough reviews of architectural plans and specifications to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with building codes, zoning, and company standards.
• Manage a project from start to finish including scope reports, design development, creating a complete set of construction documents and specifications.
• Provide clear, concise, and actionable feedback to design teams to facilitate necessary revisions.
• Collaborate with other architects and engineers, to address and resolve issues.
• Conduct required on-site and MS Teams meetings for projects under construction with the SCA rep, school principals, and contractors.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience as an Architect and Designer
• In depth knowledge of NYC and nearby building codes, zoning regulations, and construction standards.
• Experience with the NYC SCA desired
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• AutoCAD proficiency a MUST! Revit desired

Education:
Bachelor of Architecture (BS Arch; B. Arch, MS Arch, etc.) required.
