What You'll Be Doing

• Define and evolve the long-term architecture strategy for our revenue technology stack, ensuring solutions remain scalable, secure, and sustainable.
• Design and govern integrations across customer relationship management, marketing automation, event management, and internal business systems.
• Lead architectural reviews for strategic initiatives, evaluating the right balance between configuration, customization, and third-party solutions.
• Collaborate with business leaders, administrators, developers, and operational teams to transform business requirements into robust technical designs.
• Establish architectural standards covering data design, security, integration patterns, governance, and platform lifecycle management.
• Drive enterprise-wide data governance practices, ensuring quality, consistency, and visibility across critical business systems.
• Provide technical leadership, coaching, and mentorship across Salesforce, marketing technology, and revenue operations teams.
• Identify opportunities to modernize platforms, reduce technical debt, and improve operational efficiency.
• Act as the escalation point for complex cross-platform challenges impacting business operations.
• Monitor vendor roadmaps and emerging technologies to ensure Pax8 continues leveraging best-in-class capabilities.
• Ensure all architectural decisions align with Pax8 security standards, compliance requirements, and data protection practices.

What Success Looks Like

We're looking for someone who brings a combination of strategic thinking, technical depth, and collaborative leadership, including:

• Extensive experience designing and architecting enterprise-scale customer relationship management and marketing technology ecosystems.
• Deep expertise with Salesforce platforms, including Sales Cloud and Configure, Price, Quote solutions.
• Strong experience designing sophisticated marketing automation environments and supporting lead management strategies.
• Demonstrated success integrating event management platforms into broader revenue technology architectures.
• Proven ability to design secure, scalable integrations using APIs, middleware, and integration platforms.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise data modeling, governance, quality management, and system interoperability.
• Experience driving platform delivery standards, release governance, and modern DevOps practices.
• Ability to lead technical design discussions and influence decisions across multiple business and technical stakeholders.
• Exceptional communication skills with a talent for translating complex concepts into business-focused outcomes.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or an equivalent combination of education and practical experience.

Preferred Certifications

• Salesforce Certified Technical Architect or Salesforce Application/System Architect certifications
• Salesforce Certified Integration Architecture Designer
• Adobe Marketo Certified Expert

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $125,000 - $160,000 USD annually, depending on experience.
