Senior Architect Manager

Job Description

The Senior Architect Manager will work under the supervision of Associates and Principals, engaging in all phases of the design process, including construction document production. The role involves preparing schematic design drawings, design development drawings, and contributing to construction documents using AutoCAD. The candidate should be adept at managing a multi-person team and may also engage in marketing and office administration activities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare schematic design drawings and design development drawings.
• Contribute to construction documents using AutoCAD.
• Manage a multi-person team environment effectively.
• Engage in services related to marketing and office administration as needed.

Essential Skills

• 10-15 years of architectural experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and Adobe programs.
• Strong understanding of NJ Building Codes.
• Familiarity with architectural design for K-12 and higher education.
• Experience with commercial steel and concrete slab construction.
• Excellent design and technical skills, with a detail-oriented approach.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Licensed architect preferred.
• Revit and other computer-generated rendering software experience is a plus.
• LEED AP certification is a plus.
• Completion of an architectural undergraduate degree in the US is advantageous.
• Experience in moderate to large scale commercial or institutional projects is required.
• K-12 Educational design experience is a plus, but not required.

This is a Permanent position based out of Trenton, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $48.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Trenton,NJ.
