Senior API Product Manager

NextStep Recruiting has partnered with a weather technology organization to identify a Senior Platform Product Manager in Dallas, TX. This role is 100% onsite and will lead the strategy, growth, and evolution of enterprise platform capabilities, integrations, and connected digital solutions.

This position is ideal for a builder with a founder mentality who has personally launched products from concept to market and can clearly articulate the business impact of their work. The right candidate combines commercial thinking with technical fluency, thrives in ambiguous environments, and takes ownership from idea through execution.

Required:

• Proven experience building products from 0 to 1 with clear personal ownership and measurable business impact

• Strong commercial mindset with the ability to connect product decisions to revenue, customer adoption, and business growth

• Experience leading platform, integration, or technical product initiatives from concept through launch

• Technical understanding of APIs, integrations, data platforms, or enterprise software ecosystems sufficient to partner effectively with engineering teams

• Founder mentality with a bias toward action, customer engagement, and solving problems without heavy process or bureaucracy

Preferred:

• Experience with enterprise SaaS, platform products, integrations, IoT, or data-driven technology solutions

• Background working directly with customers and strategic partners to shape product direction and commercial opportunities

• Experience influencing product strategy, pricing, positioning, and go-to-market initiatives

• Familiarity with AI-enabled development tools or modern technical product workflows

• Humble, collaborative leadership style with the ability to clearly articulate personal contributions and measurable business results
