Title:                  Senior Analyst, Sales Finance
Location:          Naperville, IL 60563 (Hybrid)
Duration:         0-12+ Months
Shift:                   9: 00 AM to 5: 00 PM
Pay:                     $46.32/Hour
 
Position Description:
As a Senior Analyst, Sales Finance, you will partner with Sales, Commercial Strategy and Finance teams to provide financial analysis and insights that drive profitable growth. You will support forecasting, customer profitability, trade investment management, and performance reporting while helping identify risks, opportunities, and actionable business recommendations. What You'll Be Doing
  • Forecasting & Performance Reporting Lead customer-level sales, volume, trade spend, and profitability forecasts. Analyze monthly business performance against plan, forecast, and prior year results, highlighting risks and opportunities.
  • Trade Investment & Profitability Analysis Evaluate promotional spending, customer investments, and trade programs to maximize ROI. Provide customer P&L analysis and recommendations to improve profitability.
  • Financial Planning & Decision Support Support annual planning, quarterly forecasts, and monthly close activities. Deliver financial models and insights that support strategic business decisions.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership Collaborate with Sales, Revenue Growth Management, Commercial teams to understand business drivers and support growth initiatives.
  • Reporting & Process Improvement Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and analytical tools. Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve reporting efficiency through automation and enhanced analytics.         
 
Skills Required:
  • Strong financial analysis, forecasting, and modeling skills ·
  • Advanced Excel skills;experience with SAP, Power BI, or similar tools preferred
  • Strong communication, presentation, and storytelling capabilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across cross-functional teams
  • Strong attention to detail with a continuous improvement mindset      
 
Experience Required:
  • 3+ years of experience in Sales Finance, Commercial Finance, FP&A, or related finance roles        
             
Education Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
