About the role:
CLA is looking to hire a Senior Analyst - Post Merger Integration for our Deal Services practice. This role supports private equity-backed and growth-oriented companies through financial professionalization, post-close integration, and accounting transformation initiatives. The Senior will assist clients with financial transformation projects, opening balance sheet and closing balance sheet activities, accounting clean-up efforts, close process improvements, ERP and reporting enhancements, and other finance organization initiatives that help companies scale after receiving institutional capital.

What you will need:
2 years of experience as an Associate in an equivalent industry/service
3-5 years of audit, accounting advisory, CAAS, transaction advisory, or finance consulting experience preferred
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field required.
Working towards CFA, CPA or other post-graduate degree or relevant industry/service certification
General knowledge of accounting principles and/or regulations impacting each engagement or project, financial markets, analysis and reporting of financial data
Understanding of internal software systems including Pfx Engagement, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Windows and Office
Strong balance sheet and financial statement experience preferred
Experience preparing or reviewing account reconciliations and month-end close activities preferred
Exposure to acquisition(s) and private equity preferred, (opening balance sheets, purchase accounting, carve-outs, integrations, a significant plus)
Experience with ERP systems, reporting tools, and financial process improvement initiatives is a plus
Experience supporting month-end close, financial reporting, accounting operations, or integration-related activities preferred

The compensation range for this position in Minnesota is: $80,000-139,000
The compensation range for this position in Massachusetts is: $95,000-155,000
