    Responsibilities

    • Manage month-end and quarter-end accounting activities.
    • Analyze and account for a broad range of investment products and transactions.
    • Own recurring financial reporting processes and ensure completeness and accuracy.
    • Oversee activity, while ensuring compliance with applicable fund agreements and accounting policies.
    • Assist with the preparation and review of annual financial statements and related reporting.
    • Collaborate with teams across the organization.
    • Perform and support reconciliations between internal and external resources
    • Investigate and resolve discrepancies and unusual activity, providing insight and recommendations to management.
    • Support process improvements as needed.
    • Assist with special projects.

     

    Qualifications

    • 4+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within financial services or the Big 4.
    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
    • CPA or progress toward CPA preferred
    • Strong understanding of accounting principles for the financial services sector
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with and present to executive leadership
    • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
