Senior Analyst, Health Coach Wellness - New York

Position Summary

As an On-Site Wellness Coach, you will serve as a trusted health and well-being partner for employees at an assigned client location in New York. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in wellness coaching, behavior change, motivational interviewing, health education, and employee engagement to help individuals achieve sustainable lifestyle improvements and support organizational wellness goals. You will work directly with employees through one-on-one coaching, group programs, health screenings, and wellness initiatives designed to improve overall health outcomes, reduce health risks, and increase participation in employer-sponsored wellness programs.

This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping employees build healthier habits related to nutrition, physical activity, stress management, sleep, weight management, and tobacco cessation. You will collaborate with employer leadership, wellness teams, and healthcare partners to deliver engaging wellness solutions that drive measurable results.

You will accomplish this by:

• Providing individualized health and wellness coaching using evidence-based behavior change techniques and motivational interviewing.
• Conducting health risk assessments and reviewing biometric screening results to identify opportunities for health improvement.
• Creating customized wellness action plans that support individual goals and long-term behavior change.
• Facilitating wellness workshops, educational sessions, and group coaching programs that encourage employee participation and engagement.
• Tracking participant progress, maintaining accurate documentation, and reporting program outcomes through electronic medical record systems and wellness platforms.

Your relationship-building skills, ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations, and commitment to delivering high-quality wellness programs will be critical to your success. As a member of the Population Health and Wellness team, you will play an important role in helping employees adopt healthier behaviors while supporting the organization's overall health and productivity objectives.

Work Schedule

• Full-time position.
• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, or based on site-specific requirements.
• Flexibility may be required to support wellness events, screenings, and employee programs.

Location

• Must reside in New York.
• Must reside within driving distance of Glens Falls, NY.
• Must have the ability to travel to the assigned onsite client location daily.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in wellness coaching, health coaching, employee wellness, population health, health promotion, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills.
• Working knowledge of business intelligence.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Adept at collaboration and teamwork.
• Adept at growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skills.
• Experience conducting individual coaching sessions and facilitating group wellness programs.
• Experience documenting participant interactions in an electronic medical record (EMR) or wellness management system.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to travel to the assigned onsite location daily.
• High-speed, hard-wired internet connection.

Preferred Qualifications

• Wellness Coach Certification, National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC), or equivalent health coaching certification.
• Experience in health coaching, employee wellness, population health, or behavior change programs.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of evidence-based wellness practices and chronic disease prevention.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Health Promotion, Public Health, Exercise Science, Nutrition, Health Education, or a related field required.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$46,988.00 - $112,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
