The Opportunity The banking and capital markets (BCM) sector is undergoing rapid transformation as technological innovation, rising customer expectations, and evolving risks reshape how banks operate and compete. Emerging technologies are enabling real‑time risk insights, hyper‑personalization, and new business models. At the same time, market volatility, and regulatory pressures are accelerating the need for resilience, simplification, and a bold reinvention of product and services, operating models, and workforce capabilities.
As a Senior BCM Analyst at EY, you will be an expert on key banking topics, contributing to EYs distinctive perspective on client issues within the sector and the key areas of specialism (e.g. Investment banking, corporate banking, trade finance, technology, or sustainability). You will lead a portfolio of programs focusing on the signature issues faced by banks, aligned to your areas of expertise. You will deliver high-impact analysis and insights to position EY in the market and drive commercial value, and support the wider insights landscape, including analysis requirements for BCM executive leadership, aligning insights priorities with the Global BCM board.
Recognized as a subject matter expert, you will be sought after by senior partners to provide analytical support and strategic advice on banking developments to both EY leadership and clients in your areas of specialism.

What We Look For We are looking for individuals who are curious, strategic thinkers with a commercial perspective driven by an understanding of client experiences and broader marketplace dynamics. You should have strong analytical skills and the ability to present insights to clients, including at the executive level, in support of the domains agenda. A collaborative mindset is essential, as you will play a vital role in responding to emerging issues with technical experts across the EY network. You will work closely with the BCM Lead Analyst and other Analysts to deliver insightful content that helps EY differentiate itself in the marketplace and proactively identify new business opportunities and risks.
