    Senior Analog and Power Electronics Manager

    Company:

    Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is looking for a Senior Analog and Power Electronics Manager (Level M) to join the Integrated Electronics Capability in El Segundo, California.

    As the Senior Manager for the Analog and Power Electronics Group, this person will be responsible for the electrical engineering design and delivery of Analog and Power units across the Space, Intelligence and Weapon Systems (SI&WS) Electronics Portfolio.

    Position Responsibilities:   

    • Staffing, hiring and managing other managers within the group

    • Manages employees and mid-level managers performing engineering and technical activities in the areas of Electronic and Electrical Engineering

    • Manages, develops and motivates employees and mid-level managers

    • Working closely with Technical Lead Engineers (TLEs) and Chief engineers in support of program engineering execution

    • Develops and executes integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals, objectives

    • Acquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements

    • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes

    • Ensuring best practices and design processes are being followed

    • Ensuring lessons learned and process improvements are implemented within the unit design cycle

    • Working closely with other functions within the Electronics organization (Mechanical, ASIC/FPGA, STE, etc.) to ensure the integrity of unit design and development

    • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports

    This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location option.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

    • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement

    • 10+ years of experience leading or managing engineering teams

    • 10+ years of experience with Analog and/or Power Electronics and/or Analog/Power Electronics Hardware

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

    • 10+ years of experience in low Technology Readiness Level (TRL) and high Non-Recurring Engineering (NRE) developments

    • Experience in leading engineering teams in both proprietary and commercial developments

    Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

    Summary pay range: $212,500 - $287,500
