Senior AI Engineer - Microsoft Copilot Studio (Hybrid - Charlotte, NC or Dallas, TX)
About the Role
Join an innovative enterprise AI engineering team at Wells Fargo, driving the next generation of agentic AI solutions within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. As a Senior AI Engineer, you will spearhead the design, development, and deployment of advanced AI agents and orchestration frameworks using Microsoft Copilot Studio. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to shape enterprise-wide AI capabilities, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and deliver impactful solutions automating complex business processes.
Responsibilities
- Architect and deliver end-to-end agentic AI solutions leveraging Microsoft Copilot Studio and Microsoft 365 Copilot
- Design, build, and optimize multi-agent orchestration frameworks, including workflow execution, task decomposition, and coordination
- Develop declarative and custom agents for enterprise-scale business automation
- Create and maintain reusable frameworks and standards for scalable agent development
- Integrate AI solutions across Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, OneDrive, and the Microsoft 365 suite
- Build orchestration layers for planning, validation, execution, and recovery
- Implement performance monitoring, execution tracing, and observability for agent workflows
- Uphold responsible AI practices, including security, privacy, policy enforcement, and explainability
- Collaborate with Product, Architecture, and Engineering teams to ensure alignment with enterprise standards and strategic initiatives
- Lead architecture reviews and technical design discussions for Copilot and agent-based solutions
Required Skills and Experience
- Advanced hands-on experience building AI agents within Microsoft Copilot Studio
- Deep knowledge of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, OneDrive)
- Proven track record deploying enterprise-grade AI solutions and agentic workflows
- Ability to develop orchestration patterns, workflow automation, and reusable frameworks
- Experience integrating Microsoft Graph for enterprise data grounding
- Strong understanding of AI engineering best practices, including testing, CI/CD, and monitoring
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship; available for hybrid work (3 days onsite in Charlotte, NC or Dallas, TX)
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Azure AI Foundry
- Skills in advanced workflow optimization, latency management, and cost efficiency
- Familiarity with Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android integration
- Demonstrated leadership in technical design and architecture reviews
