ARC Group has an immediate opportunity for a Senior AI Developer with expertise in Python, Agentic AI, LangGraph, and enterprise AI architectures. This is a 6-month contract with strong potential for extension or conversion to a full-time position.

This is a hybrid opportunity based in Jacksonville, Florida, requiring approximately 2 days per week onsite, with the remainder of the work performed remotely. Senior AI Developer – Agentic AI Systems

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior AI Developer to design, build, and deploy enterprise-grade Agentic AI solutions using modern Python frameworks. This individual will help architect scalable AI agent ecosystems that integrate with enterprise platforms while ensuring security, governance, and regulatory compliance within a healthcare environment.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience building production AI agents, multi-agent orchestration, Model Context Protocol (MCP), and secure enterprise applications.

Responsibilities

AI Architecture & Development

• Design, develop, and support production AI agent systems utilizing LangGraph, AgentCore, and related frameworks.
• Build scalable Python applications supporting complex AI workflows and multi-agent orchestration.
• Develop and maintain Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers and clients for enterprise AI communication.
• Integrate AI solutions with enterprise applications, APIs, and databases while following organizational architecture standards.
• Optimize AI agent performance, scalability, and reliability for production environments.

Enterprise Security & Compliance

• Develop secure AI applications following enterprise secure coding standards.
• Ensure compliance with organizational security policies, including database security and application development standards.
• Implement security controls aligned with SOC 2, HITRUST, CIS, and DISA STIG best practices.
• Support audit logging, non-repudiation, and governance requirements.
• Protect sensitive and regulated healthcare data while maintaining secure AI workflows.

Integration & Operations

• Deploy AI solutions into secure enterprise environments.
• Maintain AI platforms using vendor-supported software versions.
• Partner with Architecture Review Boards during technology evaluations and implementation planning.
• Support production deployments and ongoing operational improvements.

Collaboration

• Partner closely with Information Security, Infrastructure, Database Administration, and Development teams.
• Participate in security reviews and incident response when necessary.
• Document AI architectures, best practices, and operational procedures.
• Stay current with emerging AI technologies, LLM advancements, and AI security trends.

Required Qualifications

Technical Experience

• 5+ years of professional Python development experience.
• 3+ years designing and developing Agentic AI solutions using LangGraph.
• 2+ years building and deploying production AI agents.
• Experience developing and managing Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers and clients.
• Experience with AgentCore or comparable enterprise AI orchestration frameworks.
• Strong understanding of:
  • Multi-agent architectures
  • AI orchestration

  • Enterprise API integration
  • Secure application development
• Experience integrating AI applications with enterprise databases and business systems.

Security & Compliance

• Experience working within regulated enterprise environments.

• Experience implementing audit logging and governance controls.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with:
  • Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
  • Vector databases
  • Enterprise API Gateways
  • Service Mesh technologies
• Healthcare or HIPAA-regulated environment experience.
• Contributions to open-source AI or machine learning projects.
• Cloud certifications (AWS or Azure).
• Security certifications such as CISSP or CCSK.

Education & Experience

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Experience

• 5–8 years of progressive software development experience, including designing, implementing, deploying, monitoring, and troubleshooting enterprise technology solutions.
