Pay Rate: $90.00 - $95.00per hr.
Our client needs a Senior Agile Practitioner / Business Systems Analyst who can combine strong Agile coaching skills with deep analytical and critical thinking capabilities. This is not a typical Scrum Master role—the ideal candidate will operate across multiple teams, lead portfolio-level initiatives, define requirements, and influence stakeholders across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Agile Transformation & Coaching
- Train and coach teams on Agile practices, frameworks, and ceremonies
- Guide teams on Agile workflow setup in Jira
- Help establish visibility into team capacity and delivery across portfolios
Portfolio-Level Initiative Work
- Lead creation and decomposition of portfolio epics
- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to define scope and priorities
- Ensure initiatives are actionable and ready for delivery teams
Requirements & Analysis
- Perform business systems analysis and gap assessments
- Refine and clarify requirements to improve initiative readiness
- Provide analytical insight for decision-making across the organization
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Engage with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, development teams, architects, cybersecurity engineers, senior business leaders, and CIO-level leadership
- Facilitate discussions, align stakeholders, and connect business needs with technology execution
Leadership & Representation
- Operate independently and confidently
- Represent leadership in meetings as needed
- Think broadly and strategically across multiple teams and initiatives
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 7+ years of experience in Agile practices, business analysis, or a hybrid role
- Jira – Agile work management
- Confluence – Documentation and portfolio tracking
- Lucidchart – Process flows and system diagrams
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Experience working across multiple teams and portfolios
- Familiarity with banking or financial services preferred
- Ability to work autonomously and take initiative
