Greystones Group has an opportunity for a Senior Acquisition Analyst supporting a Navy contract. The Senior Acquisition Analyst will provide high-level acquisition, financial, and program management support to a Navy Program Office, with a focus on the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs. This position supports the Program Manager in program planning, execution, and reporting while ensuring full compliance with DoD policies, procedures, and acquisition regulations. The analyst will play a critical role in developing strategies, analyzing program performance, supporting outreach and transition activities, and managing the financial and contractual aspects of R&D efforts.

Salary range starting at $120k

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support the PM in planning, coordinating, and executing Navy SBIR/STTR program activities in compliance with 15 USC 638, FAR, DFARS, and SBA Policy Directives.
  • Provide analytical and advisory support for program and contract issues, ensuring alignment with DoD, Navy, and NAVSEA goals and objectives.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on project and program performance metrics, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to senior leadership.
  • Assist with outreach and technology transition efforts, promoting collaboration among small businesses, Navy technical points of contact, and acquisition stakeholders.
  • Coordinate program requirements, policy implementation, and financial and contractual management for R&D projects.
  • Prepare detailed monthly progress and management reports summarizing accomplishments, issues, and key activities.
  • Utilize Navy and DoD data systems (Navy ERP, SharePoint, Power BI, PIEE, WAWF, Advana, SPS) to support program tracking, budgeting, and reporting.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of professional experience in DoD or component-level R&D acquisition, including at least 2 years supporting DoD or component SBIR/STTR programs within the last 5 years.
  • 2 years of experience with DoD SBIR/STTR Program outreach and transition activities.
  • Proven proficiency in analyzing and reporting SBIR/STTR project and program status.
  • Demonstrated expertise in DoD SBIR/STTR Program coordination, implementation of program requirements, and financial and R&D contractual management.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills with the ability to interact effectively with technical and management personnel.
  • Active Secret clearance required.
