I’m working with a great company in the area that is looking to add a Senior Accounting Specialist to its team. SR ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST
Salary: 85K – 95K

Key Responsibilities for the Senior Accounting Specialist:
- Prepare and post journal entries and support month-end and year-end close activities
- Process AP invoices, expense reports, and vendor payments
- Perform account reconciliations, including bank reconciliations, and resolve discrepancies
- Support revenue recognition, lease accounting, and fixed asset accounting activities
- Assist with audits, tax filings, and compliance-related documentation
- Maintain accurate financial records and support reporting and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications for the Senior Accounting Specialist:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of accounting experience in public accounting or private industry
- Knowledge of GAAP and/or IFRS accounting standards
- Experience with month-end close, account reconciliations, and advanced Excel functions
