    Senior Accounting Manager
    We are partnering with a growing manufacturing organization to identify a Senior Accounting Manager to join their leadership team. This is a highly visible role responsible for overseeing core accounting operations, leading month-end close activities, and partnering cross-functionally with operations and finance leadership to support business performance.

    The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in accounting and financial reporting, combined with experience in a manufacturing environment and the ability to lead and develop a high-performing team.
    Responsibilities

    • Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
    • Oversee general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
    • Partner closely with plant operations and leadership on inventory, cost accounting, and operational analysis
    • Manage and mentor accounting staff while helping improve processes and internal controls
    • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities
    • Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and audit requirements
    • Assist with ERP optimization, process improvements, and system implementations
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, operations, supply chain, and senior leadership teams
    Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
    • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities
    • Prior experience within manufacturing, distribution, or a product-based environment required
    • Strong understanding of inventory and cost accounting principles
    • CPA preferred
    • Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
    • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
