    Reports to: CFO Position Overview Amber Semiconductor is seeking a highly motivated, hands-on Senior Accounting Manager to join our growing Finance team. This is a key role within a fast-growing semiconductor company, offering significant growth potential , broad responsibility, and an excellent opportunity to develop into a Controller role as the company scales. Reporting directly to the CFO, this individual will manage day-to-day accounting operations, financial close and reporting, internal controls, inventory and cost accounting, and a lean accounting team. We are looking for someone who combines strong accounting knowledge and management capabilities with a willingness to work at a detailed level. The successful candidate should be comfortable managing and reviewing the work of others while personally handling reconciliations, journal entries, inventory transactions, and other accounting matters when needed. This role offers significant growth potential, with the opportunity to assume broader ownership of the accounting function and develop into a Controller role as the company scales. Key Responsibilities Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP. Manage the general ledger and oversee reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, fixed assets, payroll accounting, AP, AR, and other day-to-day accounting activities. Prepare and review financial statements, account analyses, and management reporting. Manage inventory and cost accounting , including inventory valuation, WIP, standard costing, COGS, manufacturing variances, and inventory reserves. Partner with Operations and Supply Chain on accounting for foundry, OSAT, engineering, and other semiconductor-related activities. Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls; perform internal reviews to identify control gaps and process improvements. Coordinate with external auditors and prepare supporting schedules and documentation. Own accounting processes within NetSuite and drive improvements in workflows, reporting, controls, and automation. Manage and develop a lean team of accounting professionals while remaining highly hands-on when needed. Support accounting coordination for international operations, including India and Taiwan, as needed.
