Senior Accounting Consultant
About the Company and Opportunity:
- Our client is a small long-term care/retirement community in Annapolis, MD.
- Due to project, they are hiring a Senior Accounting Consultant to work in office in Annapolis, MD.
- Pay: $60-63/hr depending on experience.
- Duration: 3-4 months
- Schedule: 4 days a week, 30 hours a week
- Free Parking
Overview of the Senior Accounting Consultant role:
- Treasury management - tracking cash flow, initiating wires
- Assist with audit
- AR/AP Oversight - supporting the team
- Month-end Close - catch up - accruals, payroll JE's, account reconciliations
- Able to identify, evaluate, and implement process improvement
Preferred Qualifications for the Senior Accounting Consultant:
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related degree
- Advanced Excel Skills – Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs
- Sage Intacct experience is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
