Role Summary

The Senior Accountant will be a key individual contributor responsible for supporting accurate and timely financial reporting across the organization. This role will have hands on responsibility for month end and year end close, general ledger accounting, revenue and expense recognition, balance sheet reconciliations, fixed assets, and audit support.

The ideal candidate is an experienced accounting professional who takes ownership of their work, understands the full close cycle, and can effectively manage deadlines in a fast paced environment. This individual will also contribute to process improvements, stronger controls, and consistent accounting practices across multiple entities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform month end and year end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
  • Prepare and maintain general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Support revenue and expense recognition activities in accordance with U.S. GAAP
  • Coordinate accounting and close activities across multiple entities while ensuring consistent application of accounting policies
  • Prepare schedules, workpapers, and financial analysis for internal reporting and external audits
  • Support fixed asset accounting and maintain accurate supporting documentation
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external auditors to address accounting questions and audit requests
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, internal controls, documentation, and close efficiency

Key Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Strong experience with general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and month end close processes
  • Hands on experience with revenue and expense recognition
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and accounting principles
  • Experience working with accounting ERP systems
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis
  • Experience working within a large or complex accounting environment highly preferred
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, ownership, and ability to independently manage recurring deadlines

Preferred Skills
  • NetSuite experience
  • CPA or master’s degree
  • Multi entity or multi subsidiary accounting experience
  • Fixed asset accounting experience
  • Experience supporting internal or external audits
  • Experience identifying and implementing accounting process improvements
