Senior Accountant – Key Responsibilities

• 
  

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes

  
  
• 
  

• Prepare journal entries, accruals, allocations, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules

  
  
• 
  

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger and balance sheet accounts

  
  
• 
  

• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement preparation

  
  
• 
  

• Maintain revenue recognition schedules and record entries in accordance with ASC 606

  
  
• 
  

• Support lease accounting under ASC 842, including right-of-use assets and lease liabilities

  
  
• 
  

• Assist with payroll accruals and labor allocations

  
  
• 
  

• Provide oversight and support across accounts payable and accounts receivable

  
  
• 
  

• Prepare schedules and documentation for the annual audit

  
  
• 
  

• Contribute to process improvements, internal controls, and other accounting initiatives

  
  
• 
  

Senior Accountant – Qualifications

• 
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

  
  
• 
  

• Strong full-cycle accounting experience, including month-end close and financial statement preparation

  
  
• 
  

• Experience with ASC 606 and ASC 842, including an understanding of the related journal entries

  
  
• 
  

• Experience working in a smaller, growing organization strongly preferred

  
  
• 
  

• Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  
  
• 
  

• Self-directed professional who takes ownership and identifies solutions

  
  
• 
  

• Experience supporting external audits and improving accounting processes

  
  
• 
  

• CPA or public accounting experience is a plus but not required
