Your Opportunity, Your Team

The Senior Accountant plays a key role in QVC's daily accounting operations, working within and outside of the Corporate Accounting team. This includes recording, reconciling, and monitoring critical accounting functions and ensuring compliance. You will bring technical and analytical expertise to the general ledger accounting team. You will report to the Senior Accounting Manager.

Where You'll Work

This role is hybrid and will require you to be onsite at West Chester, PA several days per month (onsite days are predetermined and standard across the company). Job seekers must reside in one of the following states to be considered: NJ, DE, PA. Relocation assistance is not available for this role.

What You'll Do

  • Support the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes by preparing journal entries, reconciling general ledger accounts, and ensuring accurate reporting following company deadlines, policies and US GAAP. Provide in-depth financial analysis to help review the financial statements.
  • Participate in and support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and schedules, responding to inquiries, and collaborating with auditors to ensure accurate, and compliant outcomes.
  • Assist with implementing and maintaining SOX internal controls. This includes completing support and documentation and coordinating with the Internal Audit and Internal Controls teams.
  • Communicate and partner with individuals within and outside Corporate Accounting to support and complete projects, review new contracts and company initiatives.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, CPA preferred.
  • 4+ years of professional accounting experience
  • 4+ years of experience using US GAAP and SOX knowledge for general ledger accounting.
  • 4+ years experience in accounting systems and ERP platforms. SAP experience preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
