Our client, a leading general contractor, is seeking a
Senior Accountant to join its growing finance team. This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys partnering with operations to drive financial accuracy and performance.
Location: West Chester, OH (Greater Cincinnati Area)
Position Type: Direct Hire
Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000
Key Responsibilities:- Own month-end close processes for assigned entities and functional areas.
- Review and approve journal entries and account reconciliations prepared by staff.
- Prepare complex accounting entries, including accruals, estimates, and reclassifications.
- Support ASC 606 revenue recognition and cost-to-complete analysis.
- Partner with operations on job cost accounting matters.
- Lead BlackLine reconciliation quality reviews and completion tracking.
- Exercise independent judgment on account classifications and accrual estimates.
Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 4+ years of accounting experience in Corporate Accounting or Construction Accounting.
- Proficient knowledge of month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Preferred:- CPA license or actively pursuing CPA.
- Experience mentoring junior staff and presenting to leadership.
- Knowledge of revenue recognition, leases, consolidations, and BlackLine.
