Key Responsibilities

• Perform monthly and annual closing activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare financial statements, supporting schedules, and variance analyses.
• Maintain general ledger integrity and ensure accurate cost allocations.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and audit preparation.
• Implement process improvements to streamline reporting and strengthen internal controls.
• Mentor accounting staff and serve as a resource for technical accounting issues.

Core Competencies

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or CMA preferred.
• 5+ years of general accounting experience with a strong understanding of GAAP.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting/ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or QuickBooks Enterprise.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and collaborate effectively across departments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Location: Valparaiso, IN (Central Time Zone)
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday
Compensation: $80,000–$95,000 annually
