WHAT YOULL DO
Oversee the full accounting cycle, financial close, reconciliations, financial reporting, cash flow, and maintenance of accurate accounting records using MRP software and QuickBooks.
Support budgeting and forecasting while managing inventory, manufacturing, job costing, margin analysis, and financial reporting to support business decisions.
Maintain effective internal controls and GAAP compliance while coordinating with the outside CPA and supporting tax, audit, and regulatory requirements.
Partner with company leadership and departments on financial matters, provide guidance to accounting staff, and drive process improvements that enhance accuracy and efficiency.
WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with 5+ years of senior accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and MRP/ERP systems with strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, reconciliations, and accounting close processes.
Strong financial planning, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to turn financial information into actionable business insights.
Demonstrated ownership, accountability, organization, collaboration, and communication skills with the ability to manage priorities and drive continuous improvement.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods, with frequent use of a keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment. Ability to occasionally stand, walk, bend, and lift or carry light office materials as needed to perform job duties.
