What You Will Do

• Own key components of the monthly close process, including balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and analysis, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
• 
  
• Assist with SEC reporting, including financial statements, disclosures, supporting schedules, and quarterly and annual reporting requirements
• 
  
• Support revenue recognition by reviewing contracts, evaluating accounting implications, and ensuring appropriate revenue treatment under U.S. GAAP
• 
  
• Partner with Finance, FP&A, Content, Engineering, and other teams to investigate budget-to-actual variances and connect financial results to underlying business activity
• 
  
• Analyze complex transactions and translate them into appropriate accounting treatment, documentation, and financial reporting
• 
  
• Help strengthen internal controls and ensure compliance within a rapidly evolving business environment
• 
  
• Evaluate accounting processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, and accuracy
• 
  
• Bring a thoughtful, solutions-oriented perspective to accounting challenges and special projects

What You Bring

• 
  
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required and active CPA or CPA in process
• 
  
• 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience with a strong foundation in U.S. GAAP
• 
  
• Public company accounting or SEC reporting experience is a plus, but strong candidates ready to step into a public company environment are encouraged to apply
• 
  
• Strong technical accounting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• 
  
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, manage competing priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex accounting concepts to non-finance partners
