An exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Accountant to join a dynamic finance team, taking ownership of key accounting processes while supporting accurate financial reporting, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Description

• Prepare and review monthly management accounts and supporting reconciliations.
• Lead month-end and year-end close activities, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
• Maintain general ledger integrity and oversee journal entries.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Support statutory reporting, audits, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Coordinate with stakeholders across finance, operations, and commercial teams.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal controls.
• Identify and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reporting accuracy.
• Support ad hoc financial analysis and finance projects as required.

Profile

A successful Senior Accountant should have:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
• Several years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within financial services, banking, fintech, or a multinational environment.
• Strong understanding of IFRS, GAAP, and financial reporting principles.
• Experience managing complex reconciliations and month-end close processes.
• Advanced Excel skills with experience using ERP and financial systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to balance competing priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
