Description

Senior Accountant

Apply accounting principles to analyze financial information; develop and implement Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable procedures in accordance with GAAP and established internal controls; meet tight deadlines; provide timely and accurate financial reporting; and support the achievement of company and department goals and objectives.

As a Senior Accountant, you will:

  • General ledger analysis – Asset & Liability
  • Analyzes financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital charges.
  • Determines proper handling of financial transactions within designated limits.
  • Monitors compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and company procedures.
  • Reviews, investigates, and corrects errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports.
  • Make recommendations regarding the accounting of reserves, assets, and expenditures.
  • Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare re-class journal entries when necessary
  • 401k Reconciliation
  • Payroll Reconciliation
  • Fixed Asset reconciliation and project tracking
  • Month end close
  • Prepare assigned standard and recurring journal entries
  • Income Statement variance analysis
  • Financial audit (annual) and Bank audit (semi-annual)
  • Participate in compilation of data
  • Borrowing Base (shared duty)
  • Adhoc financial reports and analysis as needed
  • Cross train with other Accountants

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business or Economics
  • A few years of relevant experience preferred
  • Must be computer literate with proficiency and working knowledge of database and reporting tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Proficient working experience with ERP systems, Basic Accounting software systems.  Experience with Infor Syteline.

Salary Range: $70,000–$85,000 per year within this range, individual pay is determined based on skills, experience, and qualifications relative to the job requirements. Base pay information is aligned with market location and may be subject to prevailing wage laws, if applicable.
