Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day accounting tasks, performing account reconciliations, assisting with close processes, help with conducting external/internal audits, and maintaining accounts payable documentation. The Sr. Accountant will accurately maintain a general ledger and ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills are paramount.ResponsibilitiesReconciling bank accountsMaintaining financial reports, records, and general ledger accountsPreparing journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations and assisting with monthly close processesMeeting processing and reporting deadlinesResponding to information requests, reviewing financial statements, and assisting with auditsEnsuring compliance with GAAPAssisting Controller as neededPerforming monthly balance sheet reconciliationsAssist with general administrative functionsPrepare ad hoc reports and analyses for managementSupport the monthend close processQualificationsBachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required5+ years of accounting experienceExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalWorking knowledge of GAAPStrong numeracy and analytical skillsGood problem solving and time management skillsHighly organized and detail orientedHigh level of integrity and professionalismExperience with ERP SystemsSalary range: $72,000 - $80,000 DOE (Salaried - Exempt)Work Location: In person, Monday to FridayEast Side Plating offers a competitive wage, medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as PTO, paid holidays and a 401K plan.
