Key Responsibilities for the Senior Accountant:
- Lead month-end close activities, account reconciliations, and general ledger analysis
- Perform cost accounting, variance analysis, and profitability reporting for operations and production
- Analyze cost of goods sold, labor costs, plant expenses, and operational performance metrics
- Manage fixed asset accounting, project tracking, and related financial reporting
- Prepare journal entries, payroll accounting entries, and account reconciliations
- Support audits, financial reporting requirements, and ongoing process improvements
Qualifications for the Senior Accountant:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2+ years of accounting experience
- Strong cost accounting and variance analysis experience required
