The Keller Group is hiring a Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting for our growing client based in Phoenix. This position plays a key role in supporting the company’s accounting and financial reporting processes by preparing and maintaining regulatory reports and ensuring compliance with SOX, internal policies, and all relevant state and federal regulations.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the Financial Reporting Manager to prepare and maintain various regulatory reports
  • Perform analytical reviews of regulatory reports, including variance analysis, reconciliations between the general ledger and reporting systems to ensure accuracy.
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and consolidated financial statements.
  • Provide support to internal and external auditors and ensure compliance with SOX Controls.
  • Assist in special projects, including the implementation of new regulatory reporting software, process improvements, and acquisitions
  • Collaboration with regulatory agencies and external auditors.
  • Provide guidance and training to junior staff when required


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience in accounting, audit or finance
  • Public accounting experience highly preferred
  • Financial services or public company experience preferred
  • CPA preferred but not required
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
  • Strong analytical and organizational abilities
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
