Senior Accountant

Location: Woodbury, MN (Onsite)

Compensation: $90,000 - $120,000 + Profit Sharing

Key Responsibilities

• 
  
• Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analysis
• 
  
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts while ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting policies
• 
  
• Assist with inventory accounting activities, including inventory reconciliations, variance analysis, and transaction review
• 
  
• Partner with operations and supply chain teams to support inventory accuracy and reporting
• 
  
• Analyze financial results and investigate variances to identify trends and provide business insights
• 
  
• Assist with preparation of financial statements and management reporting packages
• 
  
• Support internal and external audit requests
• 
  
• Participate in process improvement initiatives designed to enhance efficiency and strengthen internal controls
• 
  
• Assist with special projects and ad hoc analysis as needed
• 
  

Qualifications

• 
  
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 
  
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
• 
  
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• 
  
• Experience supporting inventory accounting, manufacturing accounting, or cost-related accounting functions is preferred but not required
• 
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• 
  
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working within ERP systems
• 
  
• Ability to communicate effectively across accounting, finance, and operational teams
• 
  
• CPA or CPA-track candidates are encouraged to apply
