We are engaged in a search for a Senior Accountant with a growing manufacturing organization. This position will support the Controller and assist with day to day accounting operations, month end close activities, reconciliations and financial reporting in a fast paced environment.  

Responsibilities include:
  • Prepare month end journal entries and support accurate financial close processes
  • Reconcile bank accounts and maintain general ledger integrity
  • Prepare internal and external reporting packages including bank and corporate reporting
  • Analyze ledger activity and prepare adjusting entries for intercompany balances
  • Manage and reconcile transitory bank accounts and cash activity
  • Coordinate duty drawback programs with internal and external partners
  • Support internal and external audits along with special accounting projects
  • Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable activities as needed
  • Support training and mentorship of new team members
  • Collaborate cross functionally to improve accounting processes and reporting accuracy

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor degree in Accounting or related field
  • 5+ years of accounting experience
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP accounting standards
  • SAP ledger experience preferred
  • Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills required
  • Strong analytical, organizational and problem solving abilities
  • Experience working in a fast paced team environment
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
