    Senior Accountant

    We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join a growing, entrepreneurial organization. This role will manage complex accounting activities, including general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, month-end close, financial reporting, and audit support while maintaining accurate and auditable financial records.

    The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working independently while collaborating across teams and locations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Maintain the general ledger, including journal entries, account reconciliations, fixed assets, and related accounting activities.
    • Manage monthly close activities and ensure timely and accurate account maintenance.
    • Reconcile subsidiary accounts, investigate discrepancies, and ensure financial information is accurate and supportable.
    • Review and record transactions in accordance with established accounting policies.
    • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
    • Support external audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and account analyses.
    • Investigate and resolve audit findings, discrepancies, and compliance issues.
    • Ensure accounting activities comply with U.S. GAAP.
    • Document accounting processes and procedures and identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Partner with internal teams to resolve accounting questions and support business needs.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
    • 5+ years of accounting or finance experience
    • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and general accounting principles.
    • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • CPA or CMA preferred.
    • Experience working across multiple teams, entities, or locations preferred.
    • Ability to meet applicable customer, regulatory, or contractual requirements.
