Description

4 Corner Resources is hiring a Senior Accountant for a leading vacation ownership and resort management company. This is a great opportunity for a detail-driven accountant to take ownership of full-cycle general ledger and financial reporting work while playing a direct role in the financial health of a resort property.

Senior Accountant Responsibilities:

Prepare journal entries to build and maintain an accurate general ledger
Reconcile all balance sheet accounts according to department policy
Facilitate wire transfers related to club receivables and payables
Prepare monthly reconciliations of corporate related-party receivables and payables
Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and the reporting package
Support coordination and preparation for financial audits
Help build budget reports and prepare annual budgets
Monitor banking activity to ensure funds are available for wires and checks
Support annual departmental goals
Help develop process flows, identify constraints, and implement process improvements
May support planning and oversight of department or staff events
May help mentor and develop accountants at lower levels

Senior Accountant Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting
Advanced understanding of GAAP accounting
3 to 5 years of experience in general ledger accounting, month-end close, and reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
Strong strategic, analytical, and creative thinking skills, both independently and on a team
Self-starter who is organized, performs well under pressure, and communicates effectively
Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and Access
Experience with EPM software

Senior Accountant Preferred Qualifications:

Oracle Fusion experience highly preferred.
Experience in the timeshare industry

Senior Accountant Details:

Location: Fully remote but candidates must be in Pacific Time (PST/PDT) business hours.
6-month contract with possibility of extension depending on project need.
Pay Rate: Starting at $46-50/hr.
