Senior Accountant

Atlantic Restaurant & Supermarket Equipment is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities for our growing distribution and restaurant equipment businesses. Distribution, wholesale, importing, or similar industry experience preferred.

Job Summary
Atlantic Restaurant & Supermarket Equipment is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities for our growing distribution and restaurant equipment businesses.

Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger and maintain accurate accounting records
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
• Manage month-end closing and prepare financial statements
• Review inventory and COGS accounting
• Coordinate with outside CPA

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Strong QuickBooks and Excel skills
• Experience with month-end closing and financial statements
• Inventory/COGS accounting experience
• Distribution, wholesale, importing, or similar industry experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of the accounting process
