1st Shift (8am Start)

Contract To Permanent

Seeking an Accounting Analyst for a contract-to-permanent opportunity on 1st shift. This role supports the finance team by preparing general ledger entries, performing account reconciliations, analyzing financial data, and assisting with the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports. The position also includes supporting monthly and quarterly close activities and participating in special projects. Candidates should have at least 2 years of accounting or finance experience, a Bachelor's degree, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas and pivot tables. Success in this role requires excellent attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and effective communication skills.

Job Responsibilities

· Completes assigned general ledger entries and other financial transactions.

· Collects and compiles financial information and assist senior analyst to prepare accurate and timely financial reports.

· Performs various monthly and quarterly account reconciliations/analysis.

· Manages special projects as required.

Qualifications

· 2+ years of relevant experience.

· Foundational understanding of accounting principles.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (sorting, formulas, pivot tables).

· Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.

· Good communication skills.

· Bachelor’s degree.
