Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant will take a lead role in general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and quarterly close, while supporting SEC reporting, investment income schedules, and investor and analyst presentation materials. A publicly traded principal investment firm based in Houston is growing its corporate accounting, reporting, and planning team. The Senior Accountant will take a lead role in general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and quarterly close, while supporting SEC reporting, investment income schedules, and investor and analyst presentation materials.

This role offers strong long-term growth potential, with the opportunity to build a broad accounting, reporting, and financial planning and analysis skill set within a well-established, publicly traded platform.

Attributes Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required (Master's in Accounting or MBA is a plus)
• CPA or CPA-eligible and actively pursuing preferred
• 2–4 years of accounting/financial reporting experience preferred
• Strong GAAP background with demonstrated leadership abilities
• Strong Excel skills

This role is on-site in the Galleria/Uptown area and offers excellent career growth within a well-established corporate accounting group. Our client offers a base salary of $90–110K plus a 15% bonus, split 75% cash / 25% stock.
