Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support financial reporting, project accounting, and audit processes within a growing commercial real estate environment. Oversee lot and commercial sales accounting, including closing documentation and inventory tracking.

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support financial reporting, project accounting, and audit processes within a growing commercial real estate environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare quarterly financial statements and Book-to-GAAP reporting 
• Support audit processes (interim & year-end)s
• Manage loan and equity schedules, including cash flow and distribution tracking
• Oversee lot and commercial sales accounting, including closing documentation and inventory tracking
• Handle A/R and A/P processing, ensuring accuracy, proper coding, and timely execution
• Prepare monthly loan draws and supporting documentation
• Maintain and reconcile MUD reimbursement schedules and general ledger activity
• Track and manage property tax schedules, including annual and rollback taxes
• Assist with month-end close and ad hoc projects for leadership

Requirements:

• 5+ years of GAAP accounting experience (public accounting a plus)
• Experience in commercial real estate property management and or development and job costing required
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, forecasting, and reconciliations
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting systems (Timberline preferred)
• Self-starter with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (MBA a plus)
• CPA preferred
