You'll collaborate across departments, contribute to strategic decision making, support budgeting and forecasting efforts, and help leadership understand the financial information needed to make sound business decisions.If you enjoy solving problems, improving processes, working with people throughout an organization, and using your financial expertise to make an impact, we'd love to hear from you. What Makes This Opportunity Unique?At Dasher, Finance is not tucked away behind the scenes.You'll work closely with leaders throughout the organization and have the opportunity to:Participate in strategic planning conversationsContribute to budgeting and forecasting effortsHelp leadership understand financial trends and opportunitiesRecommend process improvements that increase efficiency and effectivenessMake a meaningful impact on organizational growth We're a collaborative organization where your voice matters and your ideas are welcomed.What You'll Do-As our Senior Accountant, you'll support accurate financial reporting while helping strengthen financial operations across the organization.Month-End Close and Financial ReportingPerform balance sheet reconciliations and assist with monthly financial statement preparation.Develop overhead allocations and prepare monthly cost center statements.Maintain and reconcile fixed asset schedules and corresponding depreciation.Maintain appropriate supporting documentation to ensure adequate audit trails.Assist with independent audit requests and investigate issues as needed.Assist with tax filings and other related requests.Financial Analysis, Budgeting, and ForecastingMaintain key performance indicators and dashboards.Develop an employee cost spreadsheet as needed for pricing and budgeting purposes.Assist with the design and preparation of projections and annual budget development.Assist with pricing model development and updates and provide analysis for contract negotiations.Administer small disadvantaged spend reporting with appropriate agencies and assist with spend projections.Advanced ReconciliationPrepare weekly reconciliation of postage escrow balances and investigate discrepancies.Maintain and support programs or processes assigned to Finance, including the Gotcha program and Gotcha redemption requests.Department SupportProvide direct supervision to the Accountant and fulfill related supervisory responsibilities.Provide backup and support to the Accountant, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll functions.Participate in training and educational opportunities. What We're Looking ForRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in AccountingMinimum of 5 years of accounting experienceStrong knowledge of U.S. GAAPAdvanced Excel skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsHigh level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detailAbility to maintain confidentialityPreferred QualificationsCPA designationTwo years of supervisory experienceExperience with SageExperience with iSolvedExperience supporting budgeting and forecasting activitiesOur Ideal CandidateWe're looking for someone who:Takes ownership and follows through on commitmentsEnjoys working collaboratively with people across departmentsCommunicates financial information clearly and effectivelyLooks for ways to improve processes and solve problemsEmbraces learning and continuous improvementMaintains a positive attitude during busy reporting periodsLeads with professionalism, integrity, and respectMost importantly, we're looking for someone who aligns with The Dasher Way and wants to contribute to a workplace where people support one another, celebrate successes, and work together to advance our mission. Compensation & BenefitsSalary Range: $75,000 - $85,000Dasher offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support the health, well-being, and success of our employees.
