Within our Home Office team in Denver, Floyd's 99 Barbershop is looking for a Senior Accountant to help keep our business running sharp behind the scenes. What You'll Do:
- Prepare and maintain accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP and company policies.
- Record journal entries and maintain organized supporting documentation for audits and internal reporting.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and support a smooth and timely month-end close process.
- Analyze financial activity across departments and provide insights that support strategic decision-making.
- Prepare variance analyses and clearly communicate financial trends to leadership and business partners.
- Partner cross-functionally to improve reporting accuracy, streamline processes, and strengthen internal controls.
- Support process improvements and system enhancements within ERP and financial reporting platforms.
- Help build scalable accounting processes that support continued company growth.
- Participate in special projects and initiatives that strengthen the overall finance and accounting function.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related job experience.
- 5+ years of accounting experience with strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.
- Experience working within large ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage reconciliations, journal entries, and reporting deadlines effectively.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- CPA certification or active CPA candidacy.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP, Stampli, or other financial systems.
- Background in process improvement initiatives and scaling accounting operations within growing organizations.
