Title: Senior Accountant

Salary: $80,000–$105,000

Senior Accountant Key Responsibilities:
• Manage core general ledger activity, journal entries, accruals, and account adjustments
• Complete bank and balance sheet reconciliations and support month-end and year-end close
• Reconcile mortgage-related activity, including loans, commissions, fees, and related transactions
• Assist with monthly financial reporting, audit support, and resolving accounting discrepancies
• The Senior Accountant will partner with leadership on process improvements and broader accounting initiatives

Senior Accountant Qualifications:
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience preferred
• Mortgage lending, mortgage brokerage, banking, or related financial services experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, journal entries, and close processes
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred, along with strong Excel skills
• The ideal Senior Accountant will be organized, accurate, and comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment
