Senior Accountant (CPA Preferred)

As a Senior Accountant at SiteOne, you'll contribute to critical accounting and finance initiatives, collaborate across the organization, and gain broad exposure to public company accounting, acquisitions, internal controls, and executive leadership. What You'll Do:

Skills We Are Seeking::

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with a commitment to producing high-quality work and maintaining the integrity of financial data.
• CPA, CPA candidate, or active pursuit of CPA certification strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting required.
• 3+ years of progressive experience in public accounting, corporate accounting, or a combination of both.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and account reconciliation processes.
• Experience supporting monthly close, financial statement analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Ability to manage customer rebate accounting and related reporting while maintaining accuracy in a high-volume environment.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to partner effectively with field leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Knowledge of internal controls and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance concepts.
• Experience in public accounting, a publicly traded company, or a large multi-location organization preferred.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required; experience with large ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred).
• Experience with Power BI, data analytics, reporting automation, or other technology-enabled accounting tools is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, intellectual curiosity, and a continuous improvement mindset.
• Desire to take on increasing responsibility and build a long-term career within Accounting and Finance.
