Senior Accountant | Bonus

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing privately owned quickly scaling firm in Indianapolis seeking a Senior Accountant. This is a newly created role due to growth and succession planning. This position will support a multi-entity organization and will be responsible for a blend of GL accounting/month/year end, audit support, and payroll duties.

Responsibilities:

• General Ledger Accounting
• Month/Year-End Close
• Journal Entries
• Account Reconciliations
• Financial Statement Support
• Multi-Entity Payroll Administration & Related Accounting
• Payroll Reporting, Compliance & Benefits Reconciliations
• Physician Compensation Calculation Support
• Audit Support
• Payroll/GL Integration & Reporting Projects
• Cross-Functional Finance & HR Collaboration
• Backup Support Across Accounting Functions
• Special ERP and Payroll Projects
• Ad Hoc Analysis

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required

• 4+ years' progressive accounting experience required

• Complex Payroll experience preferred

• Foundation in public accounting preferred

• CPA preferred
